Wonderful Ship & Itinerary

Ship: Allure of the Seas
Sail Date: May 12, 2013

We loved the ship and the shows everything was terrific we stopped into Nassau, St Thomas and St Martin and the weather was perfect …The only problem we had was the food in the general dining room It was just so salty and heavy …it’s impressive to see a menu that is rich with regal descriptions however I would of preferred Golden Corral which is a chain of buffet restaurants and next time will dine at one of the ships' pay restaurants every night or just simply go to the buffet in the windjammer. We did eat at chops on our 2nd night of the cruise, which was an outstanding meal, and the service was simply the best ever. Over all we loved our vacation and can’t wait to book another cruise but this time I might see if Royal Caribbean can help us with a low sodium selection of meals.

The process from start to finish was awesome!!! The attendant Vicente was attentive and we wanted for nothing!! The shows were fabulous; the ship was magnificient and everyone that swe came in contact with was gracious and helpful. My sister said that this was the best ship she has ever been on!!! The Allure experience

Ship: Allure of the Seas
Sail Date: May 05, 2013

We are Diamond members and we have cruised on 14 cruises with Royal Caribbean and this by far is a beautiful ship but I have quite a few complaints. First of all, We are smokers and everything that the Diamond club has to offer is for non-smokers. On previous ships they accommodate us. We could not enjoy the diamond club and could not enjoy the cocktail hour. We were not even aloud to take our drinks to a smoking section. The front desk told us that tier does not mean anything and treated us terrible. In the dining room it took us 3 nites to get a table for 2 and then they wouldn't let us keep the same waiter. I do not wish to go on the Oasis at all. Actually I am thinking about going on Celebrity for my next cruise. I will continue to go on Royal but my next experience probably will be on the Independence since that is the only ship we haven't been on.

First Marsh Brother and Sister in Law Cruise

Ship: Allure of the Seas
Sail Date: Apr 28, 2013

We all had a great time on the Allure of the Seas. The Captain should be very proud of all his staff. The only down side to the vacation was the show, "Chicago". The staff was excellent but the content of the show is not for everyone. We saw many people leave and it was the only show without a standing ovation. It was disrespectful towards our Christian beliefs. We love Royal Caribbean and we will be back!!!

A Dream Vacation

Ship: Allure of the Seas
Sail Date: Apr 28, 2013

This was our first cruise so we weren't sure what to expect. The ship was incredible, the service was impeccable and the food was spectacular. The entertainment choices were varied and uniformly of high quality. Our stateroom was comfortable and roomy enough. The crew was friendly and helpful.

Our First Cruise

Ship: Allure of the Seas
Sail Date: Apr 28, 2013

We discovered that this cruise was absolutely exciting, fun and filled with so many things to do. Each day we received our daily "Cruise Compass" schedule and we were given so many planned activities from morning to the evening. We enjoyed the many shows, food, movies, Central Park, the tours on the Islands and much more. All the cruise staff was extremely friendly on all levels. The ship was outstandingly clean and information was always available on screen. I would and have recommended the Royal Caribbean - Allure of the Seas to all my family and friends. We just loved the time spent and know that the next time we will enjoy it even more as we have learned more about cruising through all the wonderful people we met on our cruise. We thank you sincerely and hope we can cruise again on the Royal Caribben once more.

First Cruise & Fun for the Hart's

Ship: Allure of the Seas
Sail Date: Apr 28, 2013

An excellent week of fun and exploring of the ship. The Allure of the Seas was terrific and would go again. Every deck was exciting to visit and explore what was going on with the bulletin touch screen. The shows were so great and fun to see. All the activities happening on board were so nice to attend. The food was terrific every morning, noon and night. We loved the windjammer for breakfast and enjoyed snacking when we felt like anytime. The dinner each night was always presented beautifully and excellent. We loved our trip to the fullest. The touring off the ship was also very nice and we enjoyed what we asked for. Thank you to all the staff and all the people that made our trip so nice.

Excellent Service, Relaxing Vacation

Ship: Allure of the Seas
Sail Date: Apr 14, 2013

Enjoyed the excellent service and visiting with the people who assisted us. The food was good and readily available when we wanted it. I can't believe the number of people they get through the buffet services at breakfast and lunch and the huge dinner services. Appreciated the continual efforts at sanitation, especially since we were traveling with a baby in our group. The children's program was awesome and our baby enjoyed her play dates every morning after breakfast. Since I have some dietary restrictions, I would have appreciated some more lactose-free dessert choices especially at dinner. The fruit plate choice was good and I guess I should be thankful that I went on a week=long cruise and didn't gain a pound! I did not like the staff lobbying for "excellent" ratings at the end of the cruise. We were told that the bosses didn't consider "good" to be good enough. Maybe you need to take another look at your rating system or your reaction to it, because I didn't feel like I h...

April 2013 Cruise

Ship: Allure of the Seas
Sail Date: Apr 14, 2013

The ship was truly amazing. Lot's to see and do, took some time to discover all of the sites and activities. The shows were excellent, the aqua/water show was quite unique. Food in the main dining room was as expected, average. However the signature restaurant, Chops, was really good! Service was top rate. State Rooms a bit smaller than other Roy Carib ships. We have been to the ports before so nothing to talk about there. We did experience that shopping in the ports was better in securing lower prices on identical items than in the ship's gift shops. All in all the cruise was worth 4 out of 5 stars.

Deck Plans for Allure of the Seas

Tips for Allure of the Seas

Buffets were a good choice when you are feeding a family with small children.

Take your time and enjoy don't stress out rushing to try and fit everything in because that's impossible unless you do a back to back cruise on the Allure .....

Go to the Solarium for a healthy breakfast and no crowds.

See it all!!!!!!!!!!

Go to the Windjammer for breakfast - you will enjoy the food and looking out to the beautiful sea.

The frozen yogurt at the pool deck is so good and helps you cool down!

If you want tea you can only find it at the windjammer and the dining room. The specialty dining is the way to go for the better food. You have to pay for it but it was well worth it. You get the one one one service that you don't get in the dining rooms or the windjammer.

Go to the windjammer for breakfast and lunch and enjoy the sites looking out to the sea.

There is a page you can access on your tv telling you how crowded the various restaurants are.

Go to the buffets early.

Wipeout cafe Quick easy breakfasts Easy on and off ship at ports. I especially was happy that a shuttle was available in port to take me to taxi area, as I had a bad knee.

Get ready for long waits in everything.

Have nothing negative to say, just sit back and enjoy the ride. Awesome time.

Unless you wanted Eggs Benidict, the Windjammer offered greater variety and quicker service than the main dinning room for breakfast and lunch.

Things were very much on time or open early. Wind jammer never had lines . Lots of choices. Departure was excellent. Very well organized.

many different eating places

Windjammer food is as good as the dining room. Central park was a great idea loved it. Ship is so big it feels more like a hotel.

Use the computers in the hallway to find out how busy each dining area is.

Don't go right up to the buffet when boarding. Instead, try the roast beef sandwich at the Park Cafe! Yum!!! Be sure to make friends with Benjamin at the Rising Tide bar. He will take good care of you!

When we first boarded the ship, we went to the top floor and worked our way down each floor to see what was on the ship and where it was. (took pics). Every morning we took our cruise compass (daily activities booklet, which is in your stateroom the night before and planned out our day) Got a lot more in this way.
